AZMEC was established in 1960 and for some years the main activity was the mechanical machining of various materials supplied from the customers in account of manufacture.

In 1964 AZMEC starts the production of liquid ring vacuum pumps and compressors and the company for many years focuses the commercial efforts in the internal market having the appreciation of the customers for the good quality of its machines.

In 1988 the shares of the company are bought from a group already involved in the pump market and AZMEC moves and enlarges its targets both technical and commercial.

The gradual development of the last ten years, keeps to the actual situation where AZMEC  gets its production in the workshop in Verderio Inferiore, opened in 1993 and developed and improved year after year up to our days where the manufactoring of the new machines is done with CNC tool machines and tests of the pumps are executed in the new and modern test room equipped with the best instrumentation and available to test machines having absorbed powers of 250 kW.

The continuos investments in human resourses and advanced technologies brought the quality of AZMEC production to the highest levels.

To confirm what above mentioned, AZMEC got the certification of its quality system according to the ISO 9002 rules since October 1998.
