Roto's new XTRA VALUE range is a culmination of 33 years of experience in design and manufacture of Progressive Cavity Pumps and the application expertise gained in providing pumping solutions to more than 3000 customers worldwide for handling over 1100 fluids. Designed at Roto's new R&D facility, the XTRA VALUE range pumps are Compact, Cost effective and have Contemporary modular design. The range incorporates many special features to increase efficiency and reduce cost.
Construction feature: The standard pumps are of Cast Iron / Stainless Steel construction. Rotating part are of Alloy steel / Stainless Steel. Special material of construction for highly corrosive fluids. Torsion-free, `Moulded to Metal´ stator in a wide choice of material including Hyplon, EPDM, Viton etc. Shaft sealing by soft gland packing / mechanical seal.
Fluids Handled: Ceramic Slurry and other Abrasive Corrosive Slurries, Massecuite, Effluents, Oils, Maize Slurry, Viscose, Paints, Vegetable Oils, Sludge etc.

The neXt generation pump with Bridge breaker [Side Paddle]
Fluids Handled: Media with extremely high solid content otherwise considered `un-pumpable´ like De-Watered Effluent Sludge, Paper Pulp having 12-21% consistency, Lumpy Sticky Substances such as Dirty Grease, China Clay, Filter Cakes e.g. Soya Cake, De-Watered Sludge etc.
Construction Features: For handling extremely difficult media, wide throat KMA series pumps have additional `bridge breaker´ side paddle to sweep the media to the Auger, preventing any bridge formation over the hopper inlet. Pump construction is Cast iron / Mild Steel with Alloy Steel rotating parts. For corrosive applications All Stainless Steel construction pumps are also manufactured. Torsion-free, `Moulded to Metal´ stator in a wide choice of material including Hyplon, EPDM, Viton etc. Shaft sealing by soft gland packing / mechanical seal.
The neXt generation Industrial & Chemical Pump
Fluids Handled: Cake mix, Grease, Waste Asbestos Slurry, Explosive Slurry, High Consistency Paper Pulp, Battery paste, Massecuite, Grout Mix, Magma, Printers Ink Paste and other like materials.
Construction Features: Hopper type suction inlet allows gravity flow of highly viscous (plastico-viscous) material on to Auger cum Coupling Rod which pushes the substance to the pumping element.
